Warhammer Fantasy Battle

Anyone play or thinking about playing WFB?

I have a 80% completed Tomb Kings army collecting dust along with some Empire half built.

Just looking to make a decision on wether to keep the models or eBay them off

I'm sure I will in the future, far future... when I have time again.

I did have a pretty sizable Chaos horde back in 5th Ed.

I have some lizardmen and some dwarves, so I will play you sometime Marc. Although I don't think I have 2000pts in either yet.

I got sick for like a week a little after the tournament, and then I was busy catching up with life. But now I'm back although out of town this weekend so I can't get in any gaming with you guys.

fantasy would be fun if i had the money to spare and if my 40k armies were done. But the problem i would have it picking which army to play as

I think I would do Brettonian or perhaps wood elves.

I was looking at Orks or Wood Elves myself. Been really tempted too the past few weeks to order some stuff and try it out after I pay someone off.....LOL

Yeah, the general 'Knights in Shining Armor' syndrome. Like Matt said though, they are the Templars of Fantasy.

I'm with you Ryan. The heraldry is awesome, also the way they look and behave as an army is very different and interesting.

We could always both do them!

He doesn't want that for 2 reasons. 1.) He truly believes that your paintjobs will outdo his. 2.) He thinks you will come up with better lists than him. I have no constructive comment for you at this point.

if i did an army, i think i would do a knights templar paint job. i am obsesed with the crusades (as you may have noticed).
