Orders leadership test observation

I was tweaking my list, trying to figure out what I wanted to modify, and I reread the rules on the Vox caster and the leadership test for orders..... Looks like the only units that will benefit from the reroll of orders are either veteran squads or Infantry squads. Special Weapon and heavy weapon squads won't be able to use the reroll.

Order leadership test wording: "Vox-caster: A vox-caster is a sophisticated and reliable communications array that is connected to the Tactical command net via tight beam transmitters and a series of signal decoders.

If an officer is attempting to issue an order to a friendly unit and bot the officer's Command Squad and the chosen unit contain a model with a vox-caster, the leadership test to see if the order has been understood can be re-rolled if failed."

So, the unit must have a vox-caster in that unit to be able to reroll.... Unfortunately, you cannot take a vox caster as an option in either heavy weapon teams nor special weapon teams! Anyhow, figured I'd post this in case anyone was thinking about using the vox caster and didn't know about this.


Please correct me on this if I'm reading this wrong, but that's what it seems to be saying to me...

Yep, thats why I love the commisar Lord. Voxs are still useless.

Yeah, trying to order the heavy weapons squads around has killed me in both of the games I've played so far under the new Codex. I'm seriously thinking about investing in a Lord Commissar, because having the "Bring it Down!" on my lascannon team only go off every other time is getting to be a pain.

I've been telling people that on forums, but all they say is MOAR VENDETTAS HUR! A commisar lord will keep your boys in the fight.
