yeah i know i was just trying to be funny. you know HAHAHA!!! i was never serious just thought id put some laughs into the situation.

i like the eagle.

Problem is, the eagle is straight nazi... and it only pertains to one game.

This is just what i gathered from some of you guys I hope you like.

it looks... weird like a gambling baseball team... wait those are everywhere

the reds with a dice in the logo.....I like it

I think we need something more war like but nothing too complex... or already used

I like the dice idea or even like a few differnt weapones(axe for fantasy and a gun for futureistic games) would cover all aspects of the fourm

Yeah J I like the effort (especially incorporating what everyone has input) but I am not too fond of the output. I have still been milling around ideas, but I am always busy

what if we keep the dice idea and add guns and weapons but take away the giant C or make it in to a giant CAG

I like that idea if worked on it could end up looking great

Sorry no guns or any other tools of the trade so to speak.

I want this to look respectable from different perspectives. Someone viewing this site at work or in front of a partner won't benefit much from having an icon with guns hanging off of it.

with something like a logo you have to be careful with what you include.

you don't have unlimited space, it can be represented all over (shirts posters the web etc) and you also need to be careful to include things that provide something to whoever is viewing it.

Looking at a fist won't explain much to someone about who and what we are, same with guns... having a warhammer symbol of some sort only shows some of what we are (we have other gamers too).

So when thinking of ideas for the logo think about exactly what and how it represents us.

well isn't a fist a sign for the empire? you know like a power fist or something like that.

Re-read my post and tell me what is wrong with it being a sign for the Imperium (which it isn't).

As an aside it is used by certain adeptus as an icon (some of the astartes use it, like the Imperial Fists).

Not a problem, and creating a logo for something isn't an easy process. The more ideas we get the better.

Perhaps the most simple ideas will be the best.

too bad we can't just take all the symbols of all the armies and join them but that might be too complicated and might cause some confusion also

what about thinking in the terms of wanting this on a T-shirt too....Don't forget we will re-do our poster Flyers also. I finally got Kendell's done. As well as Eric's for Sci-fi

Well there is no cost for anything. We design a logo that works across lots of things.

We don't HAVE to make T-shirts. Plus they can be bought based on interest. No one has to spend any money at all.

The old core WoH clan, we decided on T-shirts when Matt got us organized. T-shirts always have been a plan. Fliers, Matt put together a few things and I've printed and laminated them to give to buisnesses. Buiss cards are next.
