| Only thing I'm not sure about is "Models may not contain significant elements of pre-assembled or pre-painted models or toys."
There are some cool looking "toys" that scale perfectly for 40K and I don't see the difference between using one and someone using painted models that they buy off ebay already assembled.

| Thanks for taking the time to review the doc, 40Kwill. Most of this document is borrowed or plagiarized from big tournament rules. The pre-assmbled toy restriction is to prevent a player from showing up with a bag of green army men and tanks and saying, "here's my IG army". I have seen some players incorporate toys like star wars models. David (don't recall his last name) who has been playing an Imp Knight has incorporated a sword from a model of a video game. I think the difference is converting, painting and incorporating toys instead of just plopping a brightly colored, plastic toy on the table and telling your opponent its a Leman Russ. In a friendly game or when playtesting lists, I am sure this is ok, if you opponent agrees. For our tournaments IMHO, I don't think we should allow it. I also am not aware of the tournaments I have participated in this area lately of anyone really violating it. | |

| Just a few questions: is this a primer for CAG bash ? , with tourney season creeping up its getting harder to hit primers do you have a pre register site so those who drive a bit to get there don't get the turn around due to locals taking open slots first. This has already happened a few times already this year to a friend of mine.
Not saying anything bad just saying don't want to drive there from cincy and have to turn around and come back with no play time.
Thanx, ahead of time for any input

| This is not a CAG bash primer tournament. Although, the mission format is very similar. I have been working with Makari on missions. He can comment more.
To register you can send an email. The address is in the rules pdf or you can figure it from this - gamerdewen and its a yahoo address. If you send an email before we reach our limit and arrive before 1030 on Sat, you are in and won't be turned away. We have not reached the 16 limit yet.

| After a discussion treat this tournament as a primer for CAGBASH. Missions and guidelines will be similar!. | |

| Removed Linebreaker from Mission - Spoils of War because the limit is 9 GP and it had total of 10 GP possible. | |

| David suggested I note this on the forum.
The Loot Objective mission seems to give phenomenal advantage to the player who goes first. The reason is it awards points for looting objectives on Player Turns not Game Turns. player one should get 4 points turn one if they make any effort. That leaves only 5 points remaining after the first "player turn" (One of those should actually have gone to the other player unless they are unwise). Then on Player turn 2 unless the second player can claim/contest those three central objectives the 2 pointers are gone and the 3 pointer is now only 1 point remaining. It would seem far more fair to make the Looted Objectives give points at the end of a game turn.

| 40KWill, I am going to replace that mission. After digging into the Loot Objective, I suspect play testers and the participants of the EGC tournament in Feb may not have played it consistently. It seems like some players may have played on Game Turn and others on Player Turn.
I know of one account where it was played correctly and the player who went second won the victory condition and earned the game points. I have not played this mission myself. With the uncertainty I am going to remove it from this weekend's missions and replace it.

| There are plenty spots open. I went to the prereg to ensure players a spot, especially, when traveling a good distance. The more the merrier. | |

The download on the original post is still the same. It all works the same for my list. I've got Chaos Space Marines. You know the most OP high speed up to date army out there. Well except for maybe Dark Angles.

| 40kWill, it may be a caching issue and you may have to force a refresh. Clearing your cookies may also help. I'll have printed copies tomorrow. Mission 1 is kill and no objectives. | |

| In regards to the Damocles datasheets the Named knight int there is marked as an Apocalypse Datasheet if you see the notations on page 59 of the Apocalypse rules. So he is not stamped 40K legal. | |
