| I still need to fill some gaps on the models where the join was off, but you should get the idea. The bases were fun to do and has just the basic dry brush there. Drilling out bumcannons is quite a pain. Thoughts? | |

| Sweet idea Though, I do have to say, that when I first saw it, I thought "wow, I don't know if I'd come that close to a ruined building if I were flying a flying scout vehicle", but other than that, I like the drybrush on the ruins, and your assembly looks really good Can't wait to see it all painted! And, btw, did you use the gothic ruins from like the Cadian battleforce box? (Just curious, as I just bought that battle force and it says it comes with "gothic ruins") | |

| Its the ruin set from some battleforce. Unsure. I had to chop them up to fit on the base. Tossed some other bitz on there. | |

Don't give him all the credit, Marc is a devious thief Although these look pretty well executed compared to most versions of this conversion. I'd like to get around to doing this with mine eventually. But I have 9 to do | |

| Speaking of cover, how does that work with a vehicle which typically never blocks line of sight? Can you really hide bikes behind your bases for a landspeeder? Interesting question, I may bring it up on B&C. | |

| Speeders being skimmers are explicitly said not to block line of sight, the same for infantry. The only interesting things happen with vehicles which do block line of sight, but since they are not area terrain, it is only true line of sight. Therefore I believe that dreadnoughts with big converted bases or defilers with crazy terrain and such would actually by RAW be moving terrain. I have also seen people build "rhinos" out of land raider parts, making them significantly bigger but still legal I believe | |

| Only update being I goofed on the bases (ala rust) and red trimmed the pilots. I'll get back to these as soon as I attempt to assemble 25 bikes and some Jump Infantry for Sunday. Matt : were your speeders a tight fit or did you need green stuff? | |

| Not very tight at all. I'd say 1 out of all 9 went together properly Most of it was just overhanging though, so I didn't go back in with greenstuff for much. | |
