| They got rid of the poor squats back before 3rd. Their whole race was wiped out in a tyranid invasion (and I'm not even kidding). | |

| Well this is where I found them. I will be ordering in the future, seeing I don't think anyone local will carry them http://olleysarmies.co.uk/home.htmlPrices are not bad. And I find it a little Narcissistic of GW to think that dwarf only occurs in one place while other races are all over the place. I just think someone was threatened by the Superior technical abilities of the Dwarf faction. The Dr. Who Psychic dwarfs have a cool feel too | |

The story is even better than that. At first the company simply drops the squats. Many loyal stuntie players keep asking "if" or "when" will they come back. Becoming so sickend by the requests the Tyranid story is hatched to end the dream. Fluff is generally used to enriched a game. That had to be the first time I saw it weilded as a weapon to kill part of game. On the bright side the models can be used in IG forces. It's just difficult because of the needed volume and changes in force structures. Not to meantion many of the specialist squats can't even transfer over. Sometimes I use a power armored squat in a witch hunter retinue to represent a Crusader. Every posse needs a midget.

| They didn't sell too well, so were written off. I've also read that they wanted to move the game away from just fantasy in space more too. | |

| Rackham mentioned Space dwarfs once, in the AT-43 Universe. I never seen a topic get shot down so fast in my life.
I think dwarfs are definfinitly made to fit well into fantasy world. But, I dont see no reason why they couldnt fit in space with the right equipment and abilitys.
Supercharged steam driven motorcycles and tanks. Yee haa!!!

| I hope they at least have vehicle rules. Although it would be highly amusing if Str 7 hits automatically destroyed them. | |
