| Im my tens years of experience they have.
Statistics are the only thing you can rely on when creating a list... Of course luck will play into it, but statistics are the only constant you can rely on.

| Yeah, people like to hate statistics because they observe the same scenario only a handful of times. Believe, if we rolled out dice for the fight 1000 times it would come up right about on those numbers. But luck takes over with one chance. For planning purposes stats are the only way to go. You can't rely on luck. Or if you happen to be magical, stop playing warhammer and start playing craps. | |

| Do not doubt Frostwolf's saying of screw statistics. In every game I played with him (EVERY GAME!) I can count on both hands the amount of times he has rolled statistically: 7. He has more luck in one game than most people have in 2 or 3 days. Don't know why, don't know how, but I have a theory that I ooze good luck and every other person is a recipient for it. | |

| Luck is a product of the player's want/need to get a certain die roll. It doesn't exist in any tangible sense.
What you guys are saying is that you believe in magic, and that Bruce knows how to use said magic.
In other words, you are being kind of silly.
Sorry Bruce has rolled well against you Nathan.

| One interesting thing that I have found about Warhammer is that it is more possible to seem lucky while rolling very statistically. For instance, sometimes it is good to roll low, like in leadership tests, most of the time, it is good to roll high, like when attacking. This allows all the dice to seem lucky depending on why you are rolling them while getting a good statistical spread.
However, if your opponent is rolling 6s 25% of the time over many hundreds of rolls, the dice are loaded.

| Agreed. People perceive Dice rolls as lucky or unlucky depending on the situation also.
The more they are thinking negatively about a roll, the worse the situation will seem to them. Be it a roll of your own or a roll of your opponent.

| No, those dice aren't loaded, if they were I would have found a way to switch with him months ago. But it is true what you two say about it being mostly in your mind. Darn Psychology. | |
