| yea im not sure what i could remove but nathans army sure payed for trying to beat it........ but yea im a bit light on the hvy weopens area reason why i threw in the melta bomb, the tech marine is to also help with that by increseing repairs for both my dreadnought and my ball pred to keep them running | |

| You got the points costs on Dante and Corbulo mixed up, needs a switcheroo.
I'm not a fan of the techmarine in this list.
The Baal is a pretty shrot range vehicle when equipped with flamers, so will he be running to try keep up with him the whole game?
Same thing goes for the Dread, the dread with a 24" weapon will need to get pretty close to things. The techmarine may suffer here without proper backup.
The vet assault squad is also a hell of a points sink, I'd see if you can cool that squad off a little. 400 points right there in 10 men, I'd argue that they will have a hard time getting around enough to make that back.
A very different list though, I'd enjoy giving it a go with my deathguard.

| Matt, don't worry how this list looks on paper, I know from experience that this list is really disgusting (and painful) if someone can play it right (and trust me, if anyone can do it in a tournament, Frostwolf can). | |

| Frostwolf, next time we play, I'm bringing my old tournament list with six or seven tanks (most Rhinos/Razorbacks, but one Land Raider) to see how you do against that. | |

| I loved hearing about that. Probably one of the best things that has happened when a vehicle exploded (other than two death company dropping after they exploded my Drop Pod). | |

| I would be interested in seeing whos crazy assault squad would win in a statistical fight. Your 10 jump guys with 3 PW or my non jumpies, but with scout and their 3PF Also, my sergeant gets 5-7 attacks base with a PF. I'm assuming your units have 2 base attacks, sergeant with 3, two close combat weapons? Let me know if I'm not giving your guys all their props like furious charge and everything else. | |

| Nope. All of his guys only have 2 base, 3 for double cc weapon, 4 for charge, and 5+ invulns for the combat shields. All in all, I think your guys would probably win with neither side charging, but he would more than likely get the charge on you. | |

| Based on my preliminary calculations, if the above assumptions are valid, our two units while locked in close combat with neither side charging, your unit would kill 5.67 of my guys, while losing 6.79 in return.
However if you do have furious charge (which I assume you do cause dang that is expensive) they would instead kill on average 9.98 of my 10 guys. However, if they did have said charge, I'd probably camp out in terrain so I'd at least take a few guys out while thinning them on the way up with plasma pistols.
If my guys got the charge a similar swing would take place with me killing 9 of your ten, but still taking considerable damage.
So in the end, it really matters about the maneuvering of the units as it should be. Also, my unit costs 300 pts, so is slightly outclassed in point value.

| His kills drop to 7.45, mine remain constant at 6.79. Very close statistically, the combat would be swayed by the loss of a single marine during the approach or the wait. Interesting. | |

| It's a damn pricey unit.
A ton of combat shields too. Shoot him with AP 3 and he will feel the pain on those guys.

| If in the unlikely circumstance of our two units fighting in a vacuum, he would have to endure 4 plasma pistol and 16 bolt pistol shots on his approach. Not sure how I feel on the combat shield, cheap protection for what it really does, but can it be avoided and made a waste of points? My guess is that we will find out. | |

| John, that is the exact reason you never see people roll 10 of them in one squad. | |
