| hmm, if you do take it. take 1 and put it on the assault cannon model (as he is normally the last model you will take as a casualty).
I'm not too fond of them, there are better ways to deal with tanks than to dedicate a unit like terminators to doing it.
and what enemy is going to drive a tank close to the slow moving terminators when they see a chainfist in the unit anyway?

| That said, with 5th Ed. it might not be such a bad idea. Since tanks will be less mobile, and terminators able to run.
By moving terminators towards a tank, you can force your opponent to either run away and not get to shoot, or risk being torn into by a chainfist.

| I'm at a crossroads with the decision, simply because I have two squads of Close Combat termies that are made for, obviously, close combat. | |

| Even with run, I think the best use of CC terminators is to be riding in a land raider, allowing them safety of AV 14, then land raider move, deploy and assault. | |

| Assault Terms in a LRCrusder may be a default choice | |

| yeah assault terminators HAVE to ride in a LR
or they are just plain ineffective imo.

| I think it might be even more than your opinion. At this point it might as well be a law.
The move faster, stay safe and warm, there is no losing out on their firepower since they don't really have any, and the Crusader still dishes out bolter shots along the way.
