Apocalypse!!!

as we should all know, apocalypse is almost here. if we want this to happen, we need to start planning stuff now.

so let's get to it...

Well i propose a 6k point battle. Necrons vs. Tryanids.

We have enough armies for this to work, and we could divvy up the points on each team to accommodate pretty large teams.

I also propose that people let us know on their first post in this thread, what days they will NOT be available between now and Christmas.

obviously Xmas.....

you also have to take in effect....us retail people....*sigh* I can do a weekend thing but that will be it! But figure if there are 6-8 of us playing...and we do 3 rounds one day and then the other the next day...it is more then doable.

We won't need that long, read up on the rumors we have posted numerous times.

Apocalypse games do not take 2 days to play. Ryan played in one, he can vouch for it.

Destructive power is at a maximum, therefore making it possible to play a game in a decent amount of time.

then one mass huge army in one day of destruction against another will suite me fine!

i know we have some necro-nid business going on but i also know that a lot of people have tau.

as a side-note, side don't have to be all the same army

we should start setting up other games for other people without nids and necros.

I agree on other games too. There is a list of allowed allies in the Apocalypse book though. Not everyone can be on a team together. There are restrictions (although they are more lenient than the fluff).

But once the book comes out we can get teams together that are as big as possible.

Everyone could be included in the Nid Necro game as well remember. Jsut divide up the points. I thought it would be nice to have a completely themed game. Instead of this Eldar/Imperial/Tau team crap (not that I mind that either, just doesn't promote proper knowledge of the fluff... even if the Apocalypse book does allow it).

i'm all for the rules and everything, but we shouldn't exclude people from a game because they arn't on the allowed allies list.

No, and I'm sure we can work something out (from what I saw of the leaked one that wouldn't happen anyway).

Balance can be effected when rules are broken however. So sticking to them as closely as possible is always a good idea.

be fun to jion in my only problem would be deciding which of my 2 armies to play, but in the end id probaly have to use blood angels. I have more points of them anyways
