I'll be back later (when I'm not at work) to deliver some thoughts on this.

Ok so here are mt thoughts in order to allow more than 2 players each side needs to have about 2-3k per player(2k might still be a bit low not sure seems a bit like the more each player has the better that battles go that I have played in) this also helps a ton with not haveing anything to do as you have more to do and to plan for what to do next. We almost also need to play for more time at that scale 2 or more days will become a must if we plan on getting more than 2 or 3 turns into a game

I think also that unless people are ok with really long games with pretty decent breaks in the action that each side be limited in the number of players. Having 6 versus 4 takes so long to do everything. That and you get the, well I just shot which means that I can go eat for about 45 minutes before anyone needs me again routine. Fewer players will make things more interesting.

I agree with John completely. I think the smaller the group the tighter the experience, with a ton of people you end up sitting out or just splitting off and chatting while the game goes on and decisions are no longer made as a team .

I dunno, I like the idea of apocalypse, I just think it needs work to be executed well.
