Deff Rollas and Ramming :-(

Well it's official they killed the Ork spirit , but thats the way it is sometimes.

And no i don't want a long rambling like they have had on Dakka Dakka.

I gave up reading all those threads a while ago since they seem to arguing more about nouns and sentence structure than the physics of a honkin' big steamroller hitting stuff.

So, can a Battlewagon with a Deffrolla do a simple ram on another vehicle like any other tank (without trying to get the multi-hits that deffrollas give you when you run over an infantry unit).? I could probably live with that if that is what the GW rules lawyers come up with. It would make sense to me that a big steamroller would get multiple hits on a squad of infantry, but just one big impact on a vehicle.

It is getting pretty nasty in there.

Apparently Yakface and John Spencer are split on the deff rolla issue. Yakface says deffrollas can ram, John doesn't.

Anyway, it looks like they've overturned the Inat FAQ.

So now according to Inat, John Spencer, and another FAQ they mentioned, deffrollas cannot be used in a ram.

I agree with Yak though. It is totally over powered, but the RAW says pretty plainly that it can be done.
