| It's been a while since we've had a "What graces your painting area" thread, and figured I'd start one, since I have a few pictures of things that I have in process. First, the Stompa that I've been bugged about painting: Oh, and I'm trying to make it look hodgepodge, where it has as many different bits as possible, so if anybody has any suggestions on metallic stuff that I can paint up, or color combination (like one I just thought of, an Ultramarine landraider panel or something like that), just let me know and I'll see if I can incorporate it in. Second up, I have a metal Chaos Terminator Lord that I bought just to paint up: Not sure why exactly I wanted to paint it up, but I think it's coming out ok so far. And lastly, the Vendetta I'm painting: So, what is everybody else working on? | |

| I used a red-brown car primer. I'll have to look at what brand and what not when I get home, but I also used it on the Chaos Termie Lord as well. I love the texture and the coating it provided. I then drybrushed red gore, then blood red over it. | |

| Joe I love the look of your Ork Stompa and the Vendetta, they have a great real world, been in the thick of battle, rough and ready look.
I don't have pictures of what I'm working on right now, but I have a LOT on the table. And it will be a while I think before I can work on it, moving this week or next, and having to have a medical procedure soon too that may have me in the hospital for a day or so.
But I have tons of SOB battle sisters, 10 Seraphim, two Immolator tanks, an Inquisitor and his retinue, and a unit of Kasrkin to assemble and/or paint.
Then I have all the Orks and Marines that I'll probably never play, but since no one seems to want to buy them, I'll probably end up painting them too.

Again, lemme find the camera and I'll snap some photos.

| I don't paint but iv been working on rank and file guys for a while now.
Why is it that IG (which is a horde army for better or worse) has the worst mold lines?
I spend hours of trimmy for a squad of 5 guys, I can do all the other work in under an hour but mold lines.... Theres just no escaping it.

| Man... I gotta get back to my stompa. I've got 2 of my 11 crew done and a base coat.
I did a lot of conversion on it too. Belly gun FTW. |

But this is what I have been working on is slowly building all the IG stuff I have. still wondering shadowsword or stormlord which one should I build.
