We invite you all to the first annual Talk Like a Pirate Day Party at ROXX! The usual $10 for a party pass (including food and half price gaming) applies.
For $5 more, you can join in a hunt around Blue Ash for PIRATE GOLD!!!! That is, you could win a GOLD MEMBERSHIP to ROXX for a year! This will be a battle of wits and a race to the finish, with pirate treasure maps, riddles, clues, random prizes, and loads of fun.
At 6PM we kick off the festivities with a "Fight Like a Pirate" duel. This will be a round-robin boffer sword contest to determine the prize. What is the prize?
1. 15 ROXX Points.
2. FREE GAMING during the "Pirate Party"!!!!
3. A 10 minute head start on the hunt for Pirate Gold!
4. You get to start the hunt for Pirate Gold at the SECOND location on the map!
At 7:30PM we start judging for the "Best Pirate Costume". This can be won whether or not you plan to hunt for Pirate Gold or not. The person who wins can claim one of three prizes:
1. 15 ROXX Points.
2. FREE GAMING during the "Pirate Party"!!!!
3. A 10 minute head start on the hunt for Pirate Gold!
4. You get to start the hunt for Pirate Gold at the SECOND location on the map!
If one person wins BOTH contests, they will be declared the PIRATE KING! They get two prizes (chosen from the above)!
