I hope to see this. Its nice that Privateer does stuff to continually keep the dice rolling. Especially when GW is in "fantasy" mode ATM

I've always wanted to be part of the story leagues. This should totally happen.

count me in. I'm always ready for more warmachine.

That's the week my class schedule shifts from 2 nights a week to 1 - so I should actually be able to start playing again.

Which means I'm down, if Rick can get it together.

Clint told me he's going to order the kit, so we should be good to go.

How do these leagues work? Like what point cost games do we use? Do we have to stick to the same faction all the way through? etc.

OK a brief description:

Sign up, pay your fee, gat a card. The card is used to record points and achievements during the course of the League which lasts several weeks.

Battles range in point size from 15 on up, whatever you and your opponent agree to play. The bigger the battle the more points you earn. Points are used to mark a track along which are certain advantages. When you reach an advantage you can then use it.

You can also earn achievements (which can also be credited as points). Painting a miniature during the course of the League, helping make terrain, fighting a faction for the first time, etc.

A Map on the PP webste tracks the progress of the League. There are roughly a dozen Regions in which the battles take place. When you set up a game with another player the player with the lowest point total chooses the Region in which the fight takes place. Players points are earned for their Faction. The Faction points are collected worldwide and the Factions which earn the most points in a Region control the Region. Regions also confer advantages.

The Faction controlling the most Regions is considered League Champion.
