| Are there any WHF tournaments going on this summer, besides the two at ESG during June and August?

| Some of us are going to Buckeye Battles, which is the biggest event in the state. There is also "Cheesehammer" or something coming up in NE Ohio at the end of summer. We've been talking about running one in Art of War but thats probably not happening until Fall. Where do you normally play at? EDIT: Links-a-go-go! Last Cheese Standing!Buckeye Battles

Are you willing to travel? There are events starting to pop up all over the place since the death of the GT and the 'Ard Boys

| I might be. It depends on how far and the quality of the event.
I've recently got hooked on fantasy and want to play more competitively so I can up my game.
I won the tournament at Eastside last week and want to get more games in before the next in August.

| Well Josh, Jason, Garret, Seth, and I all play on Saturdays at AoW (because that is when I work there) so I don't know if we can offer you any more competitive gaming that what you're getting at Eastside. We traditionally do well in events, with a couple "best generals" and "best overalls" under our belts. We've yet to claim a Best overall at anything bigger than a 24, but I've got my eyes on Buckeye with broken skaven | |

| I appreciate the invite. I'm sure you guys are probably better than I am. I've played a total of 9 games including the tournament.
I'm looking for more of the tradtional tournament set up though.

| Well Buckeye and Last Cheese are two day 5 round events, I believe 20-0 style events. You'd have to check out their rules packets to make sure.
It seems that we're always practicing for an event. Since Buckeye is July, we're running their comp system @ 2400 points, using a standard pitched battle scenario. You don't win if you don't practice.
