| I'd have to paint nothing else, but could get them completed in 2 weeks. Quite cut -n- paste, but it is geared for 'Ard I figure this would be the least expected and therefore the least prepared for by other players. Webway Portal is broken HQDracon Reaver Jetbike, Power Weapon, Drugs Haemonculus Webway Portal x2 Troop10 Warriors Dark Lance x2 x3 10 Warriors Splinter Cannon, Sybarite (Agoniser), Raider (Dark Lance) x3 Elite10 Wyches Plasma, Haywire, Wych Wpn, Raider (Dark Lance) x3 Fast6 Reaver Jetbikes x3 HeavyRavager Disintegrator x3 x3 2498

| Talk about unprepared, I don't even know what half of that stuff is. I'm going to have to go read a copy of the Dark Elf Codex and then come back... | |

| See ..maybe I should not have posted it The downside is of course $$$ (GW direct) though I went with the Battleforce set as a foundation. Too bad the DE range has very little plastic.. eBay has had nothing for weeks now. I tried to not stray to far into wargear for WYSIWYG purposes. Keep it simple. The models themselves are flat and sleek. Should be a quick paint. Ah well, I've been brewing ideas on the DE since Chad popped in with Eldar and our little blog poll. | |

| How did you get 3 HQ? I thought this was supposed to be standard FOC with 2500 pts. And you are right most people would not expect DE, but most people do not fear the floating cardboard box of doom. | |

| Haemonculus are a 2 for 1 HQ Yes indeed, the armour on my Fast, Open Topped Transports is cardboard thin. However, my transports are only in use the turn I arrive. Move 12" out of a portal, 2" disembark, Fleet, 6" charge (12" if on drugs) ..go ahead and shoot my empty transport down Of course, all of this without a propa testing | |

| CJ rang me and insist ACME is running 'Ard at 1750!?!? That would change my purchases. Could not confirm time yet either. Here's hoping its 1p and not 10a | |

| There is no way they can run it at 1750... I'd call them yourself.
I mean after all it is a national event at 2500... so that would be very strange.
How many points is it before you get an extra slot on the force organization chart? Just wondering...
Sounds like you have the only tactic that really works with DE down.
Shame you are going to have to buy all those ugly models.
There is a decent amount of plastic int he range. All of those warriors and raiders are plastic. So not too bad... As far as ordering GW direct, maybe you should forgo the 'Ard Boyz tournament and wait for the Apocalypse boxed sets, it would make purchasing the army much much cheaper.
What about the Incubi? They are so freaking cool. Or Asdrubel Vect, that guy is mean as hell too (expensive though, iirc)
John: I chuckled at that post, now go do your homework!
...Just don't cry for Marc too much when you realize just how ancient that codex is, I mean when it released it was already gimped. | |

| Seriously. Even at 2500pts I cannot find any use for 75% of the book I have what.. Warriors, Wyches, Wyches on Bikes and Ravaners. How sad is that | |
