Battle of Aranaxus station.
Adeptus Mechanicus forces have been fighting off raiding forces of Xenos origins in the Aranaxus system for years, but things changed recently.
With the spread of the Cicatrix Maladictum and Imperial forces being spread so thin, the forces of local Adeptus Mechanicus Macroclades has sent out a call for aid as major Ork warhordes have landed on the planet of Aranaxus Tertiary. A planet stationed with long range sensor suites and communication arrays for this sub-sector all within a large fortified compound.
The first response for aid came from the Imperial ship “Emperor’s Promise” who aided with orbital bombardments to slow the enemy advances on Aranaxus Station. Arch Magos Crowley Vandros of the Forge World Damocles has sent several Maniples of the Cybernetica Cohort as well as Kill Clades of the Skitarii Legions to assist the Station in the form of system reaching Teleportations planet side from one of their mobile Void bases. Many additional Imperial support elements are in bound.
The Ork Hordes bring many vehicles and hordes of infantry including the Gargant, “Archfiend’s Throne” and the Blitz brigades of the Ork Warlord known as The Archfiend of Dezdemon. When orks go to war, many undesirables gather to gain an advantage where they can, The likes of Chaos war bands and various Xenos war bands looking for any excuse to fight.
Player responsibilities:
Bring a force of 50 to 300 Power Level to partake in this massive battle. Prizes await all who participate. Variable objectives will allow for even the smallest forces to impact the battlefield. Models are expected to be painted and What you see is what you get.
