Over-sizing a base Empty
PostSubject: Over-sizing a base   Over-sizing a base EmptyThu May 29, 2008 9:41 am

ok question...

I want to "man up" my Wolf Priest, and place him on a Termi base...

What are the rules for that stuff? I want the base to look awesome, but I want to create an illegal model or anything.

So how does that handle in terms of the game?

I think you can always make the base bigger (from what I was told) but you can't make it smaller... I'm sure there's someone that can give you a more definitive answer, as I know that technically you're supposed to put it on the base "supplied", but, I have heard you can put it on a bigger base....

Yes, you are allowed to increase the size of the base, just not make it smaller.

This is expressly for your purpose of making your model's base more awesome.

And especially because the Space Wolf terminators come on a "small" base compared with current terminators, no one will bat an eyelash if you switch him to the normal terminator base.

One rule of thumb is one size bigger. It would be a little weird to see a power armored sargeant on a dread base, but you should be fine.
