| Made this list with the idea of deep striking the XV8 near objectives across the board. Use the DF to get to objectives, have the XV88 and the Hammerheads for Support on everything, big blast marker from HH and Twin-linked Rail guns for vehicle destruction. 2 units of FW with marker lights to help get rid of cover saves and help shooting.

| What is the minimum squad size for the fire warriors?
I would consider splitting one or both of the foot-slogging squads in half and losing the bonding knives to free up some extra points and using them as assault shields.
Bravely walking forward to rapid fire the enemy and guaranteeing to be wiped out enabling another turn of Tau firepower being poured into the enemy.

| The reason dropping the knife would work well is that you can send these squads out to be charged, and then you want them to flee no matter what.
So why spend the points on a knife? To get any use out of it the unit will have to be down to 3 men... so you are spending the knife points to keep three tau around longer.
On the topic of bumper squads, it would probably be better to just use kroot in their place.
Looks like an alright list though, i'm interested to see how you do.
