So instead of throwing good money at bad armour saves I'll be giving the Iron Warriors a rebirth. What better unit booms Iron Warriors than Khorne Raptors! Right!

I always drill my guns out.....you get the muzzel feel from them.

How many possessed sprues did you have to open to make those? They look awesome by the way.

I had 5 of those Chaos deals which yields 8 Raptors and 2 spare for HQs and such. The Possessed come with 7 "backpacks" so I just posted a clarification that the 2 "winged packs" were not included. Taa Daa! Free jump packs

Perhaps a tan brown-ish color, I think finding a color to contrast the model will be hard. Painting it in a different style (flesh vs. armor) will help contrast it pretty well.

Out of interest, how many sprues of the wings did you have to buy? Or do you get enough for every model in the box?

Marc: Playing devils advocate, don't you think the scheme is going to get a little heavy, with red, silver, bronze (both on the red and silver) and then the brown (or whatever) wings?

Yeah, it's hard. Seeing as you want to put some Khorne color into the iron warriors paint scheme (i think it works well mixed with undivided, black/red not really conflicting for attention too much).

Maybe really dull down the silver on these minis with a few coats of black ink, only thing then is that they may not fit as well with the rest of the army.

Maybe when the bronze is on both colors it will tie the mini together.

EDIT: Just found this, pretty cool. It's super large, but I'm too lazy to downsize.
