| Ok, well, I started painting my Baneblade, and I have my first update pic available. Now I was originally going to do a camo type design, but I like how the one color looks, having inked it to add some depth, and I think I may keep the entire thing this color, except add some blue panels in to make it UM.... I did notice after taking the pic that I need to coat the inside of the cannon and autocannon with the primer a little better...

| Yeah, yeah, mold lines and drill holes.... lol The cannon on the front doesn't have the mold lines, it has the seam lines, which I can't do much with at the moment (thankfully, though, it's only on the cannon itself, and is removable, so I can repaint easily once I'm able to get some green stuff to clean it up with). And, I won't be using the Hellhammer all that much (probably), so once I finish with the main cannon, I'll make sure I spend the time on that before painting it). The holes for the bolters, well, I haven't had a chance to get to those yet (I do those almost last, usually). Thankfully, all of the guns on the actual tank already have holes, so that makes that easier Any mold lines you see on the non-painted parts will be gone as I paint those parts (along with drilling out the smoke launchers). I guess I was just asking to see if the colors work for it (I think they do, but I like second opinions ) | |

| Ok, I spent a little time yesterday continuing the Baneblade, and thought I'd share a pic of it's current status: I think the lenses turned out exceptionally (well, for my work, anyhow) and I've done some more highlighting, and I have the guys in the turret closer to completion. I still need to find some green stuff to touch up the cannon's seam, but it doesn't look horrible despite it... | |

| The lens looks nice, i bet it looks perfect from table top.
One thing I would say is to thin your paints a bit and layer more.
Looking sweet man! | |

| why the short gun instead of the big gun? Usually in apocalypse that range come in handy. | |

| Yeah, it's magnetized so I can swap them out. I actually just got done magnetizing the side sponsons as well, so I can switch out between the heavy bolters and heavy flamers I did have to leave off the shield that covers them up a bit, as I couldn't get the sponson itself to be magnetized (thank God I'm getting green stuff soon, as I need to cover up a drill whole ) Pretty cool stuff, though! | |
