Random question...is anything in your list "required" IE. You have a bad ass conversion that you want in your list no matter what, or you're running a plague theme on purpose?

i was trying to run the Plague theme on purpose.

Im not as knowledgable about skaven other thaneating them...
So Kainthedragoon is a local authority on Skaven so his suggestions are solid.
But when you are ready to start testing your list out catch me or Brian (AKA Kain) on the make a date sectionfor a game to try it out.

Smack talk aside , I think the units need to be bigger. Thoughts on dropping a single unit of clan rats to make the other two units to 50? Any maybe you can work more slaves...to get the two units to 50 as well.

Also, without the weapon teams, units of clan rats really don't give you anything...so why about dropping them to a single unit of 50 with the poison weapon teams...

Then take up the slaves to 50. That will make them a hell of a lot more survivable. they're just road blocks no matter how you look at them.

Also, you are going to need a Battle Standard Bearer, something fierce. I might suggest pitching a unit of bombiders and getting one. In 8th edition, Skaven require one. It's ridiculous how much the leadership re-roll makes a difference!

I always run clanrats with spears and shields. Slaves are not worth spending the points on.

I have a bit of a large Skaven army, Makari has seen is a few times and I would have some suggestions for you.

The priest, furnace, skrolk i can get behind. Running up to 80 plaguemonks isn't the worst idea in the world.

I always equip slaves with slings instead of spears so you can have a ranged attack with them for the same cost of spears but you may actually kill something before they run away. Running them in a 5x10 bus formation instead of 10x5 also allows you a rank bonus to tie units up long enough so censer bearers and globadiers can be brought to maximum utilization and cause the most havoc possible.

Hellpit abomination is an awesome tool but doomwheel and warp lightning cannon are very good weapons as well. Ratling guns for weapon teams can be very useful when you hit them with skitterleap to create distractions. Your clanrats are good as weapon team delivery systems, like night goblins for fanatics, but dont expect the weapon teams to hit for long. The poisoned wind mortar is an excellent weapon for mobility but I think the ratling gun while riskier causes far more devastation. I would strongly recommend adjusting your list to allow for at least one doom wheel and 2 warp cannons (150 for wheel and 90 apiece for cannons means abom may have to go but these units allow you more capability for doing damage since HPA usually spends a lot of time tied up with a sacrificial tray anyway or is a spell magnet where a doomwheel and 2 cannons create 3 headaches for wizards to deal with).

Hope this gives you some ideas and if you know what army you are fighting in advance feel free to message me and I may have some dirty rat trick ideas for you... bring the pain for the glory of the Great Horned Rat!
