Ideas for 2500 point tournament

Have at it, supposed to be a bit more light hearted than the typical 1750 point tournament.

i like the idea of a 2500 pt. tournament but that means not everyone can make it. like Danny for example. Last i checked he had only a small army

Well There are people like me who have 2, maybe 3 armies I can pull at 2500 points im temtped to pull my tau back out of their box and really test out my new full set(I got a power weapon now ). I think it can be fun. And those who dont have enough point could always(if a person is willing) borrow others stuff, but for me I wouldnt(which means my space wolves might just be out of a 2.5k list)

Yeah, not everyone will be able to make it... that is kind of a given.

It won't matter. The Tourny will be a pre-registration type tourny any way. May also be a fee that can go into for prizes and such. Example...if we do Sci-fi....I know we can easily do 14 for sure including the folding Tables....unless we can do something and get it out in the mall in front of the stores. It may be a round robin type as well.

remember we still need to bring boards in to set up on the folding tables.

ok This one needs a time limit badly if not 2500 p games can take all day long for some people. no clue for a time limit on these

i think that a 2 hour to 2 1/2 hour should be long enough

to move people along...the first tourny will be a 1750 pt tourny...

ya i get the sense more people want only 1750 pt.

We can leave it up and get ideas, alot of things that go along with the 1750 will spawn discussion in here i think.

Yup, and no reason we can't run one early in the spring and one later in the spring.

the first one should probably be the lower point one and it will help pump us up for the second one.

If it's a 2500 pt tourney, look to 'Ard Boyz for ideas.

but don't completely copy... it would feel like a rip off
