Cyborgs & Robots Campaign, Doable?

Would it be possible to do a campaign or setting where ALL the player characters were Robots of some kind?

Cyborgs?

Androids?

A mix of those three?

Or would you have to have at least 1 character that was a regular organic human being in the mix of player characters?

How would YOU do that kind of game if you were running it ?

Would you want to be a player character in such a game?

I think it would work for some games...but not all. Which System are you thinking?

I know for a fact it would work for the old d6 star wars universe. It might work for GURPS High Tech....

I own a copy of GURPS: ROBOTS and GURPS: HIGH-Tech (both 3/e and 4/e)
The Robots might be easier to do in 4th edition as characters than they used to be.

cool. not too sure which edition I played...but I think Robots could be super do-able. the hard part would be to allow them to buy stats as equipment.

You know, if I wanted to increase strength of my robot, I'd just purchase the new "Strength Booster Pro, version 6.1" or whatever...instead of burning XP.

Or you could mix and match...they could buy the strength with $$$ or XP or a mix of both. So if increasing your strength costs $100, they could give you 100 xp, 100 in cash, or a mix of both...

Just a thought.
