| So my wolf lord always gets killed by the hidden powerfist in the first round of combat. I am allowed to buy him a bodyguard of fenrisian wolves (up to 4) which can soak up wounds. But is this only for shooting and as soon as he is in combat he gets power-fisted once again? | |

| Yup, as per current rules... Independent characters ALWAYS fight as a separate unit in assaults.
Hence the power of the hidden power fist (...hence it's name too:)). | |
