APOCALYPSE SATURDAY JAN 5th *date change*

So a handful of us missed the boat on the Dec 18th Apoc bash. No worries as last I checked the sun will come up tommorow.

Right then.

From my observations this would mean a preferred date would be after the Holidays as retail life slows (does it ever ) and we readjust to schedules.

So looking ahead, what works for you?

A weekend would be best for me unless we are going to do it the week within 2 weeks(starting saturday Im free for 2 weeks and have plenty of time to play warhammer). But given enough warning even after that time I should be able to manage a week day game.

any weekend in january really. my dad just took a break from grad school, so we arn't really busy until around february

but sadly, only weekends work.

How about a Sunday? Saturdays filled with youth basketbal atm.

Sure that should work great for me. We just need to set the exact date and time(maybe even the 6th? if enough can come that gives people 2 weeks notice or so)

Jan 6th can be our tentative date. I'll change the post.

I may be able to make it, at least to watch for a bit. That is really close to the date i leave... so an earlier weekend would be better for me (but we are running short on those).

I will come watch some of it for sure. Say goodbye etc.

What is the point value that you're looking to play (I think 3k is the minimum for apoc, right)? I've got quite a number of minis, and could make a 3000 pt Tau force and about 4000 in SM/IG (especially if my Baneblade comes in and I have time to paint it beforehand!!).

Also, even though I know approximately what I would be doing, I'd be learning the game as it went on as well, so if that wouldn't be an issue, I'd like to try it out...

Well I would love to use my 2k apco force on tau or who knows maybe one of the others Im working on setting up, though are we going to use only wysiwig(spelled wrong yes I even spell that wrong) or can we use some not so units(like my tau they all have the same guns but none of the suits are modeled for guns yet)

So lets chime in with the following format and I'll update my 1st post as the list compiles. Work out your points first. Commit to a list. Don't say "I think I can maybe get 5k on th board I suppose"

As long as you bring a copy and indeed explain the lot I'm sure there wouldn't be any issues.
